Luxury Ski Chalets

If you are looking for something special for the New Year ski holidays, then there are certain ski resorts that are probably going to hit the top of the list for a special luxury holiday. Zermaat for us is our favourite, although this is closely followed by Val d Isere, Courchevel, Verbier and Chamonix. In our younger days we would have probably added St Anton in there but as we approach mid-life we'll leave that for the younger skiers who are able to spend the New Year skiing without sleep!

New Year Ski Holidays

Well it may seem some way away, but now is the time to book your New Year skiing holiday before the crowds get in first. Whilst bookings are generally quiet at the moment, this soon changes in August as people look to party New Years Eve in the best ski resorts, whilst staying at the best New Year ski chalets. Whilst already some of the premier ski chalets have been secured by regular New year skiers, there is still a great deal of choice so we recommend you book your New Year ski holiday today before there is so little left!

New Year Ski Holidays

If you are looking for a great ski New Year holiday, then New Year Ski might be the choice as from the end of February they will be featuring only ski chalets that are available at New Year and nothing else. This will elevate the need for endless trawling through sites to find the chalet you want for this specific week. We'll let you know once its been launched officially.

Best Chalet

The best ski chalets are ones with lots of powder outside them and hence why ski specialists in the UK have started a ski company called powder Chalets that will launch in the Autumn and concentrate on the peak weeks, and the the luxury ski resorts that deliver what it says on the tin - powder!

Ski New Year

Demand generally for the 2011 ski season appears high as despite the Euro zone issues, and yesterdays tough budget, skiers are slowly gaining faith regarding the economy and their own financial situation. It would of course be wrong to suggest the ski industry is out of the worst, but early signs are extremely positive.

It has to be said however that the New Year ski holidays were without question the one week that didn't seem to be affected by the downturn, followed closely by the half term ski week. With demand generally on the up this looks set to continue this year and whilst June and July are generally quiet on the booking front, operators are expecting a brisk business in sales during August and September as skiers capture the last remaining chalets.

Skiers looking for last minute New Year ski deals are however warned that they are unlikely to find much, if anything out there as this is certainly one week at least where prices rise as you get closer to New Year as demand always outstrips supply.

Family Chalet

Predominantly the New Ski week is seen as a chance to leave Granny's dining table and get away with friends, girlfriends and anyone else up to party the New Year away in some swanky ski resort. But nevertheless there is still a large proportion of skier that are family ski holiday makers and therefore a new site that is like to launch called Family Chalets may be of interest as it will only feature what it says, Family Chalets!!
