New Year Ski

As the lighter nights start to arrive, thinking about a New Year ski holiday might seem a little strange, but with demand far outstripping supply, even in the current economic climate, this is one week to get you skates, sorry, skis on for!

The favourite destinations are always the high altitude snow sure resorts that have extensive skiing as well to minimise lift queue and congestion on the slopes. Therefore expect the resorts of Chamonix, Courchevel, Meribel, St Anton, Tignes, Val d'Isere, Val Thorens and Zermatt to sell out first.  But the others won't be far behind, such as the Portes du Soleil which is a popular family ski retreat during the New Year school holidays.
